I am using it (and sharing link to the website) with families in my transition planning target group. I work as a Parent Mentor for White County Schools (Georgia). And I like the emails and blog posts you have added on. Very useful. As the parent of a 19 year old with significant DD I adapt the tools for him and use them myself.
It's been great to assess skills/knowledge, finding gaps and find focus for ongoing learning.
This will be used as an assessment to be used for both IEPs and admissions to our occupational related sequence of classes.
About The Author

Hi there! I'm Chris and I created Adulting Like A Champ because it's my life's mission to help adolescents and young adults near and far find success in their transition to adulthood.
Here's a little bit about me:
I spent 8+ years as a special educator where I built a thriving life skills program and community internship program for students with diverse learning needs.
I understand that there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all system so this was a key consideration when creating Adulting LIke A Champ. My goal was to make it as flexible and adaptable as possible to target a variety of learning styles.
I started Life Skills Advocate because I am extremely passionate about helping diverse learners beyond the classroom setting. Currently, I provide individualized job coaching, life coaching, academic support & community support for diverse learners across the greater Seattle area.
I hope you find Adulting Like A Champ to be a very useful tool as you help your child or student reach their full potential :)
Yours,
