Why We Recommend Starting With 12 Sessions

Why We Recommend Starting With 12 Sessions

Meaningful change takes time. While every client’s path is different, 12 sessions gives the coach and client enough time to build trust, identify a meaningful goal, practice strategies, and begin to see progress. This does not mean every client will finish coaching after 12 sessions. Some clients continue longer depending on their goals, support needs, and progress.

  • Build rapport with the coach
  • Clarify goals and support needs
  • Identify executive functioning patterns
  • Practice strategies between sessions
  • Adjust tools that are not working
  • Begin building confidence and independence

Is Coaching a Good Fit Financially Right Now?

Coaching may be a good fit right now if:

  • You are prepared to invest in weekly support
  • You are ready for the effort both inside and outside of sessions to see meaningful change
  • You are looking for practical skill-building, strategies, and gentle accountability
  • You understand that coaching is private-pay
  • You are ready to work on one meaningful goal or challenge area over time

Coaching may not be the right fit right now if:

  • The cost would create significant financial strain
  • You need a service that bills health insurance directly
  • You are primarily needing mental health support, crisis support, or case management
  • You are needing in-person support
  • You are not able to commit to consistent sessions at this time
